Combination herbal teas: One older trial used a blend (chamomile, vervain, licorice, fennel, balm-mint) and reported symptom improvement vs placebo over 7 days; this does not establish licorice alone as effective, and modern guidelines still don’t recommend herbal teas routinely for colic.
